Message From Area Director
Forrest Walden has been an avid pursuer of health, fitness and nutrition his entire life. Graduating from Auburn University with a degree in Exercise Science, he was also the head cheerleader for the University. Forrest is a certified personal trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He has competed in and won several natural bodybuilding competitions.
He opened his first Fitness Together studio in 2001. Since that time, he has personally opened five other studios in the Birmingham area. He purchased the master franchise rights to AL, FL, and NC and has overseen the development of over 53 studios in his territories. He was honored with the coveted "Personal Trainer of the Year" title in 2003, which is a national award given by Personal Fitness Professional magazine. Forrest has also received the Fitness Together "Franchisee of the Year" award in both 2003 and 2004. Through his studios, he has overseen over 2,000 personal training clients and his organization continues to conduct over 1,000 personal training sessions a week in the Birmingham area. His biggest passion is helping people to uncover the truth about fitness and showing them how to apply it to their busy lives.
Forrest lives in Birmingham, AL with his beautiful wife, Mendy and their three children Caroline, Brooke, and David.
